Warranty and service conditions

All Rockhampton Motorsports Dirt Bikes and ATV carry a MANUFACURTERS Warranty from the time of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship with the customary exclusions noted here unless otherwise specified in writing at time of Purchase. All sales are final. All Rockhampton Motorsports products are sold as Recreational Use products and are not intended for Commercial or industrial use unless otherwise stated in writing at the time or purchase. Rockhampton Motorsports shall not be liable for consequential loss of any kind arising out of the supply, operation or use of any product sold. Rockhampton Motorsports does not cover any consequential expense beyond warranty supply of replacement parts for the product itself e.g. Freighting & Transport

Assembly

Please ensure the product is properly assembled before use. It is the operator’s responsibility to check the overall condition of the bike prior to operating i.e.. Visual inspection of all mechanical components, check for loose bolts / nuts etc. Chain tension and lubricant / oil levels.  Any Rockhampton Motorsports machine can only be assembled, Repaired or Serviced by a licensed mechanic in a licensed workshop. A receipt of payment for assembly, Repair or periodic Servicing may be required when making warranty claims for parts.

Servicing

A Full service MUST be conducted after 1 month of invoice date or after 10 hours of riding, whichever comes first. NO SERVICE = NO WARRANTY!!

A receipt of payment for the service may be required when making warranty claims. Your warranty will be voided if any of these conditions are not met. Your warranty can be voided, if any non-genuine or non-standard part has been fitted to your machine or the product has been used for commercial purposes without written consent from Rockhampton Motorsports . All consequent services need to be conducted as per the manufactures specification / user manual . If in doubt, please contact Rockhampton Motorsports for further information. All receipts of payment for the services may be required when making warranty claims for parts.

Operating the Machine

Rockhampton Motorsports or its agents will not be held responsible for any theft, damage, loss of income or injury caused whilst operating the machine. Warranty does not cover any loss or damages incurred from reckless use of the machine, accident or collision or loss of income in the case of commercial use or injury sustained from recreational use . The upkeep and maintenance is the responsibility of the driver/rider and should be done prior to using the machine. Please refer to Assembly and Servicing above.

 

Warranty Period of Cover

Rockhampton Motorsports offers a wide range of products all backed by Manufacturer Backed Warranties.

Dirt Bike & Pit Bikes   –  6 Months PARTS ONLY WARRANTY

ATV’s – 6 months PARTS ONLY WARRANTY

 

SOL INVICTUS – 2 year / 20,000KM Warranty

First Service: 700kms or 6 months from purchase (whichever occurs first)
Second Service: 2,000kms or 12 months from date of first service (whichever occurs first)
Subsequent services: Every 3,000kms or annually from date of last service (whichever occurs first)

 

Postage and Transit Insurance

From Time-to-time Rockhampton Motorsports may opt to send replacement parts to Non-Local customers in the event of a warranty claim for professional fitment by a qualified motorcycle mechanic at the customers expense. It is the customers responsibility to cover the cost of any freight of parts or whole vehicles to and from our Rockhampton QLD Dealership. It is up to the customer to arrange insurance for any parts / vehicles freighted at their discretion.

What Our Warranty Will Not Cover

This warranty will not cover product failure because you broke it (any defect or malfunction that is caused as a result of misuse, failure to follow operating instructions, abuse, commercial use or use with improper or faulty equipment). It doesn’t cover incidental damages. Also, the warranty isn’t any good after you open any product that isn’t intended to be opened – Please do not try to repair or fix this product yourself this must be left to the skill of a qualified mechanic at a licenced service centre or mechanical workshop.

Exclusions/Limitations

By purchasing a Rockhampton Motorsports product, whether you place your order online , in-store or by telephone, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review our warranty terms, have done so to the degree you need to be familiar with them, and you accept their terms and conditions, including the limitations, exclusions, and disclaimers in them.

Normal wear and tear, periodic maintenance, repair and replacement due to normal wear and tear are excluded from coverage.

Abuse and misuse, defects or damage that result from improper operation, storage, misuse, physical damage that results from improper operation, storage, misuse, physical damage such as cracks and scratches, contact with liquids, extreme humidity, sand, dirt, extreme heat or food.

Unauthorized service, modification or alteration. Defects resulting from unauthorized adjustment, alteration or modification in any way by someone not authorized by Rockhampton Motorsports are excluded from coverage. This includes product with evidence of tampering such as broken seals or mismatched parts.

This warranty extends to you only if you are the end-user with the original purchase receipt.  Rockhampton Motorsports will at its option, repair replace or refund the purchase price of any product that does not conform to this warranty. We may use functionally equivalent reconditioned / refurbished / pre-owned or new units. Under no circumstance is Rockhampton Motorsports responsible for any loss suffered from the use of a product purchased from Rockhampton Motorsports
